Before becoming an Enterprenour graduated Maritime School as Navigator. Later studied English & Business at Westminster College and Hammersmith College in London, UK. As he says, forever greatful to Britain for best formative years of his youth.
Picked up playing chess at the tender age of forty ! Views chess as new personal challenge in terms of mastering the game and making Chess Club a solvent and honorable establishment, since Riga historically deserves special attention in Chess history.
