Vladimir is strong IM and winner of National & International tournaments. Has played for Latvian Olympic team, co-authored 2 chess books (For Blitz & Rapid Games) with his famous father – Evgeny Sveshnikov. As FIDE trainer he has helped young players to prepare for European and World Championships. For last 10 years has assisted his father with computer preparation work which contributed his father becoming World Veteran Champion – 2017. Vladimir is quiet yet friendly and entertaining player and coach.
